BRAJ CULTURE AND ART DIVISION:
Holi Mahotsav- brief description:
Holi is celebrated in the spring season. This month several events took place in Vedic history but two of them are the most famous:
Sri Sri Radha Krishna (Divine Couple) and Their friends played together with colors in Braj Mandal, India.
A young child, Prahlad was saved from a fire due to his faith in the goodness of Vishnu, while his demon aunt Holika succumbed to the flames.
PROGRAM:

Prayer: By Sanjay Pahwa and Vaisnava Academy Students

Drama: By VA students.

Namsankirtan: Mary Mckinnon and VPS Kirtan Group.

Dance: Dance Choreographed by Hima Sharma
-
RadhaKrishna Bhajans: VPS Kirtan Mandali
-
Dance: Directed by Neena ji Gulati
-
Dole Leela: All are Welcome
· Bhajans: Traditional bhakti songs.
· Dance: BharatNatyam; an ancient classical dance by student of Triveni School of Dance.
· Drama: Students from Vaisnava Academy will perform dramas and dance based on spiritual values.
· Vrindavana: Sri Sri Radha Krishna Seva and feel yourself in Vrindavana.
· Prasadam: Vegetarian dinner.

DIRECTIONS:
From 93 North (From Boston): On I-93 South take Quincy, Neponset exit #12. Stay in right lane and follow Quincy sign. You will come to the traffic light. Take a slight right and go over the bridge. Keep left at the fork, following the sign for "Squantum, Wollaston Beach. You will go over the bridge and keep going straight on this road "Quincy Shore Drive" for about 3 miles. At the very end of the road make a left at the light on Sea Street and drive for half a mile and take right on to Moffat Road. Take second left on to Calvin Road.
From 93 South (or 128/95 South): Take 93 North towards Braintree Take Exit 7 for Rte 3 South on I-93. Stay on the right lane once you take the exit. As soon as you take the exit you will see exit 18. Take exit 18 and follow the sign for T station/Quincy Ctr. Go straight through 4 traffic lights. (You will be going along the railway tracks. At the fifth light take a right onto Granite St. At the next light turn left. Stay on the right lane. Go straight through the next two sets of traffic lights. Quincy College on your left. From Quincy High keep going straight on coddington street. Coddington Street becomes Sea Street. Drive half a mile on Sea Street and take right on Moffat Road. Take second left on to Calvin Road.
From Rt 3 South: Take exit #18 and follow the sign for Quincy Ctr. Go straight through 4 traffic lights. (You will be going along the railway tracks). At the fifth light take a right onto Granite St. At the next light turn left. Stay on the right lane. Go straight through the next two sets of traffic lights. Quincy College on your left. From Quincy High drive straight on coddington Street. Coddington Street will became Sea Street. Drive half a mile on Sea Street and take right on Moffat Road. Take second left on to Calvin Road.
